Using creativity, compositional principles and digital techniques, I was to create motifs in a poster series, which show my skills.
Consept
Different motifs about that animals suffering because of humans.
Target group
People who are not very aware of the situation that many animals suffer because of humans. The motives will remind people that some animals suffer because of people.
Research question
How to make motifs about that animals suffering because of humans?
Process
The process it started with finding out what animals can suffer from. There could be rubbish, forest fires and changes in their environment. There was a lot of brainstorming and searching for inspiration. In the end, I was inspired by the change of environment, time and fur.
Result
The result was a polar bear that gradually lost its precious icebergs. To make it a bit dramatic, skeletons were added that could be a result if global warming continues.
The message around the leopard is about the fur industry. Here I have used the leopard’s pattern to tell about animal death. I did this by placing the leopard’s fur outside the animal. To arouse the feelings even more, I have also added a cross where the animal’s heart is, which symbolizes death.
Another motif of a polar bear was made. Here is a motive that says that drought can be a result if global warming continues and animals can suffer because of that.
